Fall 2022 EAP/R Housing Application Information

Living in I-House is preceded by a competitive application process, and applications are accepted based on the quality and intent of the applicant’s responses.

To apply for I-House, please follow these instructions to submit an online application that will be reviewed.  If the application is accepted, you will receive information on signing a housing contract in mid-July.  If your application is not accepted, you will have the opportunity to sign-up on the Undergraduate Housing Waitlist which opens on July 7, 2022.  We have limited space so please continue to look at other housing options as well.

Application Process:

  • Please visit the Housing Portal and login your campus credentials
  • Click on the category: EAP/R I-House Process
  • Click on the link called “2022 Fall Quarter EAP/R I-House Application”

The application is due by June 10, 2022 at 11:59PM (PST).  The host College for I-House, Eleanor Roosevelt College (ERC) will review the applications and work to make decisions after the due date.  Emails will be sent to your UC San Diego email, so please be looking for updates in late June/early July.

International House at UC San Diego is a friendly and diverse community of internationally minded students and scholars.

All registered UC San Diego undergraduate students except new incoming freshman or current freshmen are eligible to live in I-House. Living in I-House is preceded by a simple application process, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis for various quarters.

About 350 people from over 30 countries choose to make I-House their home each year. Residents (approximately half domestic and half international) include undergraduates from all seven colleges, graduate students, and visiting scholars. Students, faculty, staff and community friends are all welcome to participate in our programs.
