UC San Diego’s International House (I-House) is a unique and engaging Living-Learning Community (LLC) of approximately 350 students and 10 international scholars from over 40 countries.

As a distinctive Living-Learning Community, I-House brings together international students and scholars from throughout the world, U.S. students interested in international issues or careers, and students who have participated in study abroad programs, or plan to in the near future.

This mix of students, cultures, ideas, experiences and perspectives creates a community that fosters a diversity of thought and experience where students can learn, develop their skills, and grow as students and global citizens in an engaging and supportive environment.

Administratively housed in Eleanor Roosevelt College, I-House serves and benefits students from all undergraduate colleges throughout UC San Diego.
