Language Conversation Tables (LCTs)

One of our most popular programs, LCTs are led by hosts and attended by students, faculty, staff, and community members. LCTs provide a weekly opportunity to learn a language in a casual environment, in conversation with someone who is fluent in that language. The schedule and languages offered vary by quarter.

Participants can:

  • Connect with students from all over the world
  • Learn and practice languages without the fear of making mistakes
  • Take part in a cultural exchange on a weekly basis

Become a Language Table Host and...

  • Share your language and culture with others
  • Actively contribute to the I-House community
  • Improve your interpersonal skills
  • Gain valuable leadership experience
  • Receive Co-Curricular Record (CCR) credit

Spring 2019 applications now closed! Stay tuned for Fall 2019 host opprtunities.
