Rental fee includes 3 hour of user time (including event, user setup and user cleanup). Additional hours will be charged at $25/hour for student orgs and depts and $40/hr for off-campus users.

Deposit & Damages

  • A recharge number or deposit of 50% of total fees is required to confirm your reservation.
  • The user is responsible for any damages to the facility, furniture or equipment.
  • Replacement cost for equipment that is lost or damaged will be charged to your group.

Policy Notes

  • All food and drink must be ordered through UCSD Catering 858-534-3688 catering.ucsd.edu.
  • Reservations cancelled within 2 week for Great Hall and 48 hours for Asante rooms subject to cancellation fees.
  • Discounts available for multi-day/multi-facility use and for UCSD alumni, faculty and staff.
  • All deposits and payments must be made by check, cash or UCSD index number. Credit cards not accepted.
  • User is responsible for cleaning up and vacating the premises by closing times above.
  • Hours of use for patio may be more restricted due to impact on neighbors.
  • Summer Conferences administers rental of I-House event space for all events in July/August 858-534-4220.
