We have a large variety of brand new state of the art equipment that is available for your event. 

In addition, we have trained facility monitors available to assist you with any equipment you chose to use.

Policy Notes-

  • User responsible for set-up, running and maintenance of any equipment provided by user.
  • Facility Monitor will set-up, break down and oversee use of all I-House equipment.
  • Facility Monitors have sole access to the Great Hall audio/visual system.
  • Equipment only available for use in the International House Meeting spaces.
  • Equipment order should be made at time of reservation or two weeks prior to event.
  • Replacement cost for equipment that is lost or damaged will be charged to your group.
  • Piano tuned twice a year. Additional tuning at user expense. Four week advance notice required.
  • Equipment is not always available. I-House has the right to refuse to rent equipment at any time.
  • For additional equipment or services, contact UCSD Media Services 858-534-5784.
  • Use of a dance floor is required for any and all events where dancing is involved.
  • All food and drink must be ordered through UCSD Catering- 858-534-3688 or catering.ucsd.edu
  • Reservations cancelled within two weeks for Great Hall and 48 hours for Asante Classrooms subject to cancellation fees.
  • Discounts available for multi-day/multi-facility use and for UCSD alumni, faculty and staff.
  • All deposits and payments must be made by check, cash or UCSD index number. Credit Cards not accepted.
  • User is responsible for cleaning and vacating premises by closing time. If client departure time exceeds contracted end time client is subject to additional usage fees.
  • Hours of use for patio more restricted due to sound impact on neighbors.

Deposits and Damages-

  • A recharge number or deposit of 50% of total fees is required to confirm your reservation.
  • The user is responsible for any damages to the facility, furniture or equipment.
  • Replacement cost for equipment that is lost or damaged will be charged to your group
