  • 2007-2008 Pepe lived in I-House while he was an exchange student from Sciences Po Paris, France. He is currently living back in his hometown, Mexico City. Spanish, French

New York City, New York: Melissa Brouwer - melissakbrouwer@gmail.com

  • 2009-2010 Melissa lived in I-House for 5 quarters, and was the Programs and Marketing intern during the 2009-2010 academic year. She graduated from UC San Diego in 2010, and was the first Alumni Relations Coordinator at I-House UCSD. English

San Diego/Italy: Danilo Condello - dani.con86@gmail.com

  • 2009 - 2010 Danilo lived in I-House while he was an exchange student from the University of Bologna, Italy completing coursework for his masters. He is now back in San Diego, and is an Electrical Engineer at La Jolla Bioengineering Institute. Italian

Washington D.C.: David Clark - davidjclark88@gmail.com

  • 2008-2011 David lived in I-House for seven quarters, three of which he was a Resident Advisor for Cuzco House. While at UCSD, David spent a summer in Berlin, Germany with the Global Seminar program, and studied abroad for a semester with EAP in Ankara, Turkey. He is currently working in Washington D.C. at the British Embassy and for the UCDC program. David can greet people in over 10 languages! Arabic, Turkish, German, and Spanish

  • 2008-2009 After receiving her bachelor's at UC San Diego, Jennifer went on to earn her master's degree from the London School of Economics. She is now working in Vienna. German

London: Cat Townson - catherine.townson@gmail.com 

  • 2009 - 2010 Caterine lived in I-House while she was an exchange student with the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. While at I-House, she was the Co-Chair of International House Cares (I-Cares) and recieved the I-Houser of the year award. She is currently an Event Organiser at Art for Youth London. English

France

Lyon: Laurent Becler - lbecler@gmail.com

  • 2009-2010 Laurent lived in I-House while he was an exchange student with Sciences Po Lyon, France. While at I-House, he hosted the French Language Conversation Table. Laurent returned to San Diego during the summer of 2010 to intern at the International Rescue Committee. Laurent will receive his master's degree from Sciences Po Lyon in spring 2011. French

Paris: Thomas Liedecke - thomasliedecke@gmail.com

  • 2008-2009 Thomas lived in I-House while he was an exchange student with Sciences Po Paris, France. While at I-House he hosted the French Café, and was a member of the Sunday Supper Committee and Co-Hosted the French Sunday Supper Co-Host. He was awarded Outstanding I-House Resident Award for 2008-2009. He is currently finishing a Master's degree in Corporate Strategy from Sciences Po Paris. Thomas is working on Marketing Development in the field of Luxury Cosmetics. French

  • 2010 - 2011 Marcus lived in I-House while he was an exchange student with Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. While at I-House, Marcus was a Great Hall Facility Monitor. Marcus is currently an undergraduate student at Trinity College. English

Spain

Barcelona: Santiago José Cartamil Bueno- mars2017@hotmail.com

  • 2009 - 2010 Santiago lived in I-House while he was a graduate exchange student with Universidad de Granada (UGR), Spain. When he returned to Granada, he worked with UC students on exchange with EAP. He also participated in a one-year Erasmus exchange program at the University of Copenhagen (KU), Denmark. While at I-House, Santiago hosted the Spanish Conversation Table. He is currently a postgrad student at Universtat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain in Nanotechnology and Science Materials. He is currently living at UAB's "Vila" which is very similar to I-House UCSD! Spanish

Lamut, Ifugao: Laura Summers - lsummers33@gmail.com

  • 2007-2008; 2009-2010 Laura lived in I-House as a sophomore, and was a Great Hall Facility Monitor, and received the Facility Monitor of the Year Award. After studyinga abroad at Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands, Laura returned to be an I-House Resident Advisor for 2009-2010 where she organized Language and Culture Cafe's and was also an I-House Offcie Intern. After graduating from UC San Diego, Laura moved to Lamut in the Philippines where she is serving in the Peace Corps as an English teacher. English and some: Dutch, Arabic, Tagalog

  • 2009 Grace lived in I-House for a year while she was on exchange with The Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, Australia. Grace is originally from Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. She has also studied at Taylors College Sydney, and The University of Hong Kong. She is currently working in Canberra as Graduate Energy Consultant at Exergy Australia Pty Ltd.   • 2010 Dave lived in I-House for a year while on exchange with the University of Melbourne in Australia. While at I-House Dave was a Great Hall Facility Monitor. He also participated in an exchange program as an undergraduate, and studied at Paris Diderot University. He is currently a graduate student at the University of Melbourne. English, French
