The International House Great Hall and Asante Meeting Rooms are great venues for a variety of events from banquets to lectures to conferences. The Great Hall’s default reception layout includes wooden round and rectangular tables, several sofa seating areas and a piano.

PLEASE NOTE: Keep in mind that ALL layouts need to incorporate the tables, chairs and sofas that are shown in the default layout. There is no room in the Great Hall to store existing furniture.

With you event ideas in hand, please consult with the I-House staff who can work with you on a particular layout for your function. To help organize your thoughts, please download and print out a blank copy of the Great Hall interior.

Also included for your reference are some of the most frequent setups for events in the Great Hall. If you see items that are not included in the Great Hall rental, they most likely can be rented through the Facilities Management Department (formerly PPS) (pps.ucsd.edu)
